Clear Greenhouse Plastic is made specifically for growers who require the maximum amount of sunlight for their plants. The film is designed with 90% transparency and 25% light diffusion, which is very low, and it provides direct sunlight exposure to crops ensuring minimizing light scattering. This is the best greenhouse plastic that can be used in the farm as it comes in different thicknesses of 6 mil for the cover which includes strong insulation and durability against bad weather. You can get desired widths ranging from 12 to 60 feet with the option of customizing the length to perfectly fit your greenhouse.

Enhanced Light Transmission for Stronger Growth

This greenhouse cover is made of non-diffused clear film which provides 90% visible light transmittance and ensures that plants receive direct and uninterrupted sunlight for the optimal photosynthesis. Clear film is considered ideal for crops that require high sun exposure, being the most economical method to achieve faster and healthier growth. Unlike diffused covers, it allows better visibility inside the greenhouse, making it more practical for the end-user to monitor plant growth.

Low 25% Light Diffuser Sheet for Direct Sunlight Exposure

This film is designed precisely for clarity and provides only 25% of light diffusion, allowing a large number of direct rays to penetrate the greenhouse. Consequently, even the lower leaves will get enough sunlight they need, thereby reducing the risk of uneven growth. Low diffusion is best for full-sun conditions crops such as vegetables, flowering and ornamental plants.

Durable 6 Mil  Thickness

The 6 mil greenhouse plastic is exceptionally lightweight yet robust and this makes it thoroughly weather-resistant and flexible.  Both solutions are able to protect against UV, wind, and rain that are the main factors that lead to crop/plant deterioration over a long period of time.

Custom Sizes to Fit Any Greenhouse Structure

Our clear plastic film, which comes in different widths from 12 feet to 60 feet, can fit any greenhouse size. The cut-to-length option not only helps in minimizing waste but also provides a precise fit, thus improving insulation and stability. This plastic cover is then the most suitable for small gardening setups or large commercial greenhouses providing effective and customizable coverage.

Stronger Insulation for Stable Temperatures

Despite the high transparency this film provides effective insulation to regulate greenhouse temperatures. The 6 mil thickness are two options that help retain heat loss during the night and will also help in gaining the desired temperatures through the day, thus making the greenhouse environment consistent in all the seasons of the year.

4-Year Greenhouse Cover for Long-Term Use

This greenhouse plastic is designed for multiple growing seasons and can brave strong winds, heavy downpours, and temperature changes. The material is UV-treated, and this prevents early degradation, while keeping the strength and clarity. The film can be utilized for a variety of crops, whether it is for planting vegetables, flowers, or herbs, and is guaranteed for long-term efficiency and increased yields.

Use and Limitations

Exposure to chemicals

Exposure of greenhouse films to severe chemical conditions has an adverse effect on the lifetime of the film. Avoid excessive use of agrochemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers. Take measures to prevent direct contact of chemicals to the film. Ensure that metal structures are galvanized and are free from corrosion. When wooden structure parts are used, avoid contact of the film with resin, oil, petroleum or volatile preservatives. Prevent contact of the film with PVC accessories. Chemicals containing halogens, sulfur, copper, iron, are known to accelerate the degradation of greenhouse films.

Specifically, if the following elements are found at levels higher than specified, the films are excluded from this warranty:

ElementMaximum level
Sulfur100 ppm
Chlorine10 ppm
Iron50 ppm

Overheating

Overheating of the film has an adverse effect on its lifetime. Hot air should be directed away from the film.

Disinfection chemical use

When chemicals are used to disinfect the soil, the treated soil must be covered with a film for a minimum of three weeks. After the film is removed, the greenhouse should be ventilated.

Installation Guidelines

Before Installation:

  1. Check weather conditions - install on calm, dry day
  2. Ensure frame is smooth with no sharp edges
  3. Clean frame of debris and old material
  4. Have all fastening materials ready

Installation Steps:

  1. Unroll material carefully to avoid wrinkles
  2. Allow adequate overlap on all sides
  3. Start fastening from one end, working systematically
  4. Maintain proper tension - firm but not over-tight
  5. Secure with appropriate fasteners
  6. Trim excess material with sharp knife

Best Practices:

  • Install during moderate temperatures
  • Use proper fastening systems
  • Avoid over-tensioning in cold weather
  • Allow for thermal expansion
  • Check and retighten fasteners seasonally
